In China there is a 100 Kilometer grid lock traffic jam that stretches from Beijing to the northern province of Inner Mongolia! Authorities are trying to figure out a solution on how to end the world’s largest traffic jam. This has been going on for ten days now with cars only gaining 3.5 km a day. Experts say that the jam might last through September.

Some Chinese have taken advantage of the situation by turning the motorway into a market of sorts by selling fruit and veg, noodles and water. The drivers pass their time by taking naps, playing cards and socializing.
